At SPNS there is one paid director/teacher, a volunteer parent board, and volunteer parents in the classroom. It's a special place where parents can take their children during the day and learn alongside them in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Director/Teacher
Teacher Alana (M. Ed.) has a deep background in education, including experience with outdoor and environmental, and special needs. She has spent years working closely with families of children with a wide range of ages and abilities. Both Alana's sons are proud members of the SPS family - both as alum.

Parent Volunteers
All parents are already teachers at heart. Some just may not have had formal training or experience with educating groups of children. At SPNS, parents are mentored and given the tools to be the best parents and best teachers that they can be.
